Secret Women's Business

This weekend my beau was in Vegas for a Bachelor party {oh dear} and I spent my weekend enjoying some 'me' time.  I can't help but think of that Sex and The City episode that referred to the girls 'secret women's business' ya know, examining your pores in a magnifying mirror, pumicing your callus's etc and as much as I missed my handsome hunk around the house, it was fun to do some of those crazy things that boys sometimes find down right weird! Serendipitously I stumbled across this HILARIOUS blog which had me peeing my pants laughing at all the 'man repelling' that we women do that just comes so naturally... Seriously you have to spend some time over there, it's pure genius!

My weekend was filled with:

Chinese food and fabulous wine

Trashy TV {Bethenny Getting Married} and a DIY mani
Redesigning my living room including creating my own coffee table out of some of my favorite books including some of my fav nik naks.
{My favorite candle, Voluspa Makassar Ebony and Peach}

{Anthropologie Magnifying glass}

sigh.... but it's so nice to have him home in one piece!

  5. how do you like CA versus Australia? I visited AU a year ago and miss it. Luckily there's a couple of Australian bakeries and restaurants here to get my fix.
