People have lost their homes, beloved pets, loved ones and their entire life's belongings... It's also my home town where my family and friends still live.
I can't imagine how you are feeling when I'm sick to my stomach over it. I hope your friends and family are all safe. This is just heartbreaking, so much loss. Will be praying for strength as these people start to find a way to rebuild their lives and deal with all measure of loss. Also for the animals, oh my heart.
oh honey! i'm so sorry. i've been watching this unfold and i've felt so devastated for the people there. it's so terrible what they are going through. i hope your family and friends are alright, and i hope you're doing okay too. it's hard having to watch from another country, just hoping and praying.
Oh my gosh! I have been reading a few stories on line about it, but I havent seen any of the pictures you posted.. just ones with a lot of mud, but these really REALLY show it! I hope all your family and friends are out of harms way.Thank you for posting a link to help!
The photos with the houses almost covered by water still blow my mind. How can there be that much water in the street? Hope your family and friends are okay. x
We were in a flood before. No one lost their lives but it was devastating and it doesn't even compare to the flood going on in Australia or Brazil right now. I don't understand these things. It's so sad. I hope your family is safe.
the pictures never fail to amaze me, no matter how many i see
