♡ + rock + yes = party

There's nothing like celebrating love and a few months ago we celebrated two of my dearest friend's engagement... These two are a couple surrounded by a fabulous community of down to earth, welcoming people. That might have something to do with the fact that they are two of the nicest, down to earth and welcoming people that I've ever met and believe me that's not easy to come by when you're working in show biz and living in tinseltown! Much to my delight the party planner/designer was none other than yours truly.

It was one of those perfect evenings that I'll never forget, the atmosphere was intimate and romantic and everyone was dancing and drinking until the wee hours of the morning.

metal drink tubs around the party made for short bar lines and hassle free refills!
I'm all about custom made touches for every party...Handmade pillows and bar table covers {made by my girlfriends and I over glasses of wine and late night girl talk}.
as the sun went down, we began to set the scene by lighting the candles, cubes and hanging lights.
guests downing the homemade killer sangria and custom cocktails under handmade paper flower garlands and twinkle lights
luminous cubes wrapped in twine were giving off a little extra glow around the party and doubled as an extra seat or drinks and nibbles table.
our fabulous bartenders
my beautiful friends and I enjoying the evening
guests typed their best wishes on my vintage typewriter and attached a polaroid of themselves, which will later become their custom made vintage engagement book.
each table had a candid picture of the love birds with an individual whimsical flower arrangement, candles and personalized matches.
custom take home 'thank you's' - individual glass bottles of lavender syrup for pancakes, ice cream or cocktails  {recipe here}

Love you guys and can't wait for the big day!
